HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR FOLIAGE PLANT?

If you have found the right foliage plant for your living, it's important to know how to take care of your new friend.

  • To start, you should be aware of the fact that too much water is never good. Watering foliage plants right is vital to the growth of the plant. It depends on the type of foliage plant how much water you should give.

  • Place the foliage plant in a bright location, away from direct sunlight. A south-facing window is usually the ideal spot for foliage plants. If the plant has a location that's too dark, the leaves will appear less colourful.

  • Provide foliage plants with the right soil. Use potting mix from our garden centre. This mix contains enough nutrients for strong growth.

  • Add fertilizer in spring or summer. Avoid fertilizing in winter, when foliage plants are likely to be dormant. You also don't need to add fertilizer right after repotting, as their new container should provide plenty of nutrients in the soil to keep them happy.

Ask our staff for advice for your foliage house plants. If you have questions about how to take care of your houseplant, don't hesitate to stop by our plant centre to get advice.
